| How a payment would be funded:
When you use PayPal to send money, the currency balance in which you
send the payment will be used first. If you do not hold a balance in the
currency of which you are sending the payment, your payment will default
to an active credit card, a confirmed bank account or a different currency
balance. You can view the 'Source of Funds' for your payment on the 'Check
Payment Details' page.
If the payment that you are sending exceeds the amount of funds in your
PayPal Account, click the 'More Funding Options' link. The options provided
will depend on the financial information that you have registered and
the sending limit on your account.
If you choose to draw funds from a confirmed checking account, you have
the option of an 'Instant Transfer' or 'eCheck'. Instant Transfer is backed
up by either your credit card or a secondary bank account and occurs immediately,
whereas eCheck payments usually take four business days to post as complete.
Please note that once a payment has been sent, it is not possible to
alter the method of funding. You can view the funding method of payments
sent by viewing the transactions details page of the transaction.
